Easily validate a European VAT numbers The EU VAT Validator allows you to validate a European VAT number and, if supported by the member state, verify the companies name and address.EU VAT Validator runs as a small icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen. To validate a VAT number simply select the country, enter the VAT number and press return. EU VAT Validator allows you to see within seconds if the VAT number is valid or not.Some member states do not disclose the company name and address in which case you will just be notified as to whether the VAT number is valid or not.The company name and address can be copied to the clipboard for use in other applications.EU VAT Validator uses the official VIES VAT Validation service provided by the European commission which in turn validates the number against the VAT database of the selected member state.NOTE: EU VAT Validator can only be purchased via the Mac App Store (the buy link redirects you to its App Store page). To purchase/download applications via the App Store an Apple account is required.
