Dictionary Upgrade Description

Enhanced versions of the standard REALbasic Dictionary for handling case sensitivity and preserve insertion order Dictionary Upgrade is an open source development toolkit containing enhanced versions of the standard REALbasic Dictionary class that handle case sensitivity and preserve insertion order. The Dictionary Upgrade project includes two variants on the REALbasic Dictionary class. Both of these classes are fully compatible with the standard Dictionary and can be used as a drop-in replacement.The Dictionary classes have similar functionality and share several identical methods, but for flexibility reasons they have been implemented independently of one another, so it is not necessary to include all the classes in a project if you only wish to use one. Requirements: · REALbasic What's New in This Release: · Significantly optimised CSDictionary and OrderedCSDictionary by using new ability of REALbasic to store arrays in Variants (and therefore in Dictionaries). · Simplified OrderedDictionary implementation. Performance for emoving items from the dictionary is now proportional to the number of items, but overall performance for adding, modifying and retrieving items is improved. · CSDictionary and OrderedCSDictionary now require REALBasic 2008 or higher. · Updated documentation to reflect new performance characteristics.
