Developer Extension for OpenSocial Description
Tools for working with OpenSocial applications After you install the Developer Extension for OpenSocial you will see an "OpenSocial" tab in the firebug view. When visiting pages which contain OpenSocial gadgets, links to each gadget's XML spec will appear in this tab. Additionally, a textbox is shown, which allows for running JavaScript code in the context of the gadget (good for debugging!). Note that the Net panel has to be enabled for this functionality to work. Requirements: · Firefox: 3.5 to 3.5.* What's New in This Release: · Rewrote the gadgets.rpc.call logging so that it becomes bound earlier. The old method missed several calls because they were sent right after the method was declared, but before the page loaded. This approach listens for gadgets.rpc to be defined and then rewrites the call() method in response. · The effect is that RPC calls which were not being logged in the previous version are now output to the console.
