DVDPlusTool Description
DVD+RW and DVD+R compatibility checking and bitsetting tool With DVDPlusTool users of some DVD+RW/DVD+R writers can set a compatibility option on their DVD+R(W) disks. This can make these disks readable in some problematic DVD players and readers. This is sometimes called 'compatibility bitsetting'.DVDPlusTool can also be used to wipe a DVD+RW disk using a 'background format'.NOTE: Although the beta release has suffered a lot of improvements DVDPlusTool can not be used by users of DVD-R(W) writers such as the Apple SuperDrive.
