Corbon Description
Free and open source framework that transforms XML to XHTML pages Corbon is a light framework for converting XML to standards-compliant XHTML. In addition to XHTML, Corbon features its own set of tags that automate commonly used operations in sites, such as creating a table-of-contents, cross-referencing etc.Corbon is written for people that know HTML and CSS, and want to build upon that knowledge to create full-featured sites without doing the mindless work of copying all headers and footers on every single page.Corbon is an off-line framework, meaning that pages are compiled and then transferred to the site in question. This makes Corbon a perfect application for small companies that don't have the ability to host complex Java CMS or PHP systems.NOTE: Corbon is licensed and distributed under the terms of the GNU Library or Lesser General Public License (LGPL). What's New in This Release: Added patches: · directory tag · seealso tag · new gifwrap tag · create non-existing XML files (non-default option). · Updated documentation to include latest tags and settings · Added support for frames (including doctype switching)
