Consultant Description

Easily keep track of your working hours. Consultant is designed with a mobile workforce in mind. The desktop application acts as a hub for client information, employee pay, and invoicing. Simply click on an employee or client and the bills are automatically filtered given the chosen date range. The application focuses on businesses who bill clients hourly and employees who get paid based on the hours they bill. Each client and employee has a rate associated with them. When either is chosen, the amount due is calculated based on the selected object's rate. When nothing is selected, the amount due is a reflection of all money that is due for the specified date range.The user interface was designed with speed and simplicity in mind. Changes are displayed instantly as objects are selected/deselected. All data is stored within the application itself and changes are saved immediately, making backup simple and data loss due to power failure or computer crash virtually impossible.Generating invoices or calculating employee pay is as simple as selecting the person or company and pressing print preview. You can also skip the preview and send the invoice directly to the printer by pressing print invoice. Client information can be easily accessed by double clicking the client name in the company list. During development, Consultant is available as a free download with sample data. You can also download a blank version. Note that 'apple + q' has been modified to 'apple + option + q' to avoid accidentally quitting the application since it doubles as a server.
