CollabEd Description

Free and open source collaborative editing platform CollabEd is a collaboration platform that can be plugged into (currently only Java-based) editors to enable non-locking, synchronous, real-time collaboration between different editors. It also provides session playback, a simple chat and a group-list window for awareness. CollabEd places all the control into the user's hands. All that's required to collaborate with others is the network address, your group and password.NOTE: CollabEd is licensed and distributed under the terms of the Affero GNU Public License , GNU General Public License (GPL), GNU Library or Lesser General Public License (LGPL) and GNU Library or "Lesser" General Public License version 3.0 (LGPLv3) Requirements: · Java 1.5 or later What's New in This Release: · Added file access interface for jetty web servers with JScheme servlets. · Added individual undo and made significant changes to the delete markup for MSET. No longer using HiddenAttr. · Now using DisplayAttribute which can un-hide a subnode. · Replay now includes version id, as does the collabed gui. · This makes old replay files incompatible.
