Cite4Wiki Description

A Firefox add-on that enables you to generate citations for the Cite4Wiki websites The Cite4Wiki extension allows you to quickly add new entries on the Cite4Wiki website. For the ones that are new to the siubject, Cite4Wiki is, at a glance, a citation generating tool for the English language. To use the Cite4Wiki extension simply right-click on a word and choose the appropriate option in the contextual menu to get a {{Cite web...}} source citation for the current page.NOTE: The Cite4Wiki add-on is cross-platform and it works on Windows, Linux and Mac OS. Requirements: · Firefox 1.0 to 3.7a1pre What's New in This Release: · Indented code output lines between the "{{Cite web" and the closing "}}", for reability. Doing it this way actually makes source citations much more legible in wikisource, because it is easier to see where they end, and it also makes the wikisource itself easier to read, by blocking of citations that can be ignored by people looking for something else. · Stripped "www." from the front of domain names before displaying them as the "work". · Used international date format by default: D Monthname YYYY. · Added second context menu option, for US date format: Monthname D, YYYY. · Removed ISO date format deprecated in WP:MOS and the Cite templates: YYYY-MM-DDDD. · Added option to copy to clipboard and close (what most people will actually want), as well as copy and leave open, or close without copying. · Use English not Spanish for date code variables. · Use English not Dutch for text-to-clipboard code commentary. · Code consistency/messiness fixes and other cleanup. · Fixed broken "About"window, accessible from the "Options" button in the Add-ons tools window. · Fixed version number display.
