CineMinima converts QuickTime-readable movies into 320x240 MPEG-4 or H.264 format movies suitable for taking with you on your 5G Video iPod, Sony PSP or other MPEG-4 SP playback device. The program utilizes the Apple provided MPEG-4 (best 128 kHz LC audio encoder IMO) and H.264 multipass encoders - NOTE - the H.264 encoder is quite slow, but generates high-quality footage. Use the highest-quality source material possible. CineMinima can create a single .MP4 movie that plays properly on both the Apple iPod and the Sony PSP, simplifying the process of making downloadable movies for widespread internet distribution and podcasting. NOTE: This software will NOT convert the audio in muxed MPEG-1 files! The program provides simple batch processing. Open a Movie, click the Convert to iPod Video button, choose a file name and the job is queued. Drag a group of Movie files to the Dock icon and they will be queued and batch converted with the current settings. The program will automatically detect the class of machine and the number of Cores and distribute jobs accordingly. The overall throughput on multi-file batches is dynamite on multi-core G5 and Intel machines. It's even faster for G4 towers and laptops... Clicking the 'X' Cancel button in the grid view cancels the current movie conversion in progress. Clicking the 'X' Cancel All Jobs button cancels all jobs and clears the conversion queue.<
