Certificate Watch Description

A Firefox add-on that allows you to have a better control of the certificates being used on the webpages that you visit After the installation of the Certificate Watch extension, before Firefox gets the chance of opening any new window, the extension will want to read and record all the available root certificates. On subsequent executions of Firefox, CertWatch will inform you any changes have occured, since the last time it was opened. In this way, the user can easily keep track of the changes. When you visit secure websites (https://), CertWatch displays the details of the full certificate chain, 1) for the website certificate, 2) any intermediate root certificates, 3) up to the top root certificate. This details will also be saved in your profile.Because the certificates are normaly saved from the very beggining, CertWatch will be configured by default to show a new certificate only when it is encountered for the first time. This setting can be modified from the Preferences menu.In addition, CertWatch saves an entry for each HTTPS connection. Requirements: · Firefox 3.0 to 3.7a5pre
