Firefox add-on that blocks sites by the rules specified in your own templates The Censure Block add-on enables you to set a couple of rules in the Preferences window, so that you can filter websites that provide offensive content. How does the Censure Block add-on work?· When you start of browser the subscription will be automatically updated.· The list of rules will be created and it will be loaded into the memory.· When you type the address into the address line the loaded address of the site will be checked and compared with the lists of rules.First it is compared with the "black" list. If it is found in it, then the address of the loaded site will be compared with the "white" list.If it is found in the white list, thenthe access to the site will be permitted. If in the white list the address of site will not be found, then access to the site will be blocked and a message about this will be displayed.· After the loading of the website, the title and the keywords are checkedIf any word from the list of the keywords are found in the title or among the keywords, then site is checked in white list. If this is not available then it will be hidden and a message about this will be displayed.· After the loading of the site, the pages as well as all the references with the lists of rules are being checked. If the address indicated in the links exists in the black list but it is absent from the white list, then this a link will be hidden.Note: The Censure Block add-on is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
