Open source Carbon event loop for R CarbonEL is an open source package that hooks a Carbon event loop handler into R. CarbonEL is useful for enabling UI from a console R (such as using the Quartz device from Terminal or ESS).Note: This package is for Mac OS X console version of R only! It doesn't work in the R.app GUI (because it's not needed there) and it doesn't work on any other platform than Mac OS X (because Carbon is not cross-platform).
