A Firefox add-on that removes tracking links from several web search engines BeeFree works in a very simple way: it detects if you are looking at the results of one online-search by using a filter made on purpose for this search engine. This is the reason why not all search engines, worldwide, are supported; because every search engine has its own way to handle the search results, and every search engine needs a different filter.When the list of results is printed and the page is loaded, BeeFree will create a list within all the links from inside the webpage and will extract the target-link from each link. Once done, BeeFree will remove the clickable link and will replace it with a safe link, pointing to the target page. This new created link will look like the original one with only a few differences: only the standard HTML tags of the link are represented and the javascript code inside the link is removed.When you're using a web search engine, beefree will also replace your User-Agent with a fake one. It'll be a random name generated on every session; and every search engine will have a different User-AgentExternal link!To increase your privacy, BeeFree will remove the referer link out of your HTTP headers.
