Normally, when Cleaner encodes using multiple passes, the top progress indicator in the Output window shows the overall progress, while the bottom progress indicator shows progress of the current pass. However, when encoding H.264, the number of passes is not predictable. So, the upper progress indicator shows only the “barber pole” bar, which shows that there is activity that will take an unknown amount of time. · QuickTime Player cannot play back MPEG-2 clips with a 4:2:2 color space. Although Cleaner can generate such clips, QuickTime is limited to 4:2:0 for MPEG-2 playback. So, you must use a different application to view these clips. · Setting the Data Rate Units preference to Bytes per second does not change the displayed units for DivX, Kinoma, Real, Flash, or MPEG-4. · QuickTime file sizes displayed in the Output window do not include the Hint data. Actual output file size will be somewhat larger. · Windows Media data rates greater than 1.4 Mbits/sec and frame sizes larger than 640 x 480 are not supported. · Audio sources with sample rates of 96 kHz and higher are not supported. · The MP3 encoder does not support the 8 kb/sec data rate at the 11.025 sample rate using the Variable Bitrate option. · "Avg. total data rate" panel is not supported in the Output Window for DivX, Flash, or Windows Media output. · The DivX encoder does not support resolutions higher than 1280 · EventStreams for Windows Media are limited to 7.1 minutes from beginning of a movie. This is a constraint in the Microsoft Windows Media SDK for Macintosh. · Sorensen Video 3.3 Pro is not fully compatible with QuickTime 7.x and Mac OS 10.4. If you choose Watermark or Mask in the Sorenson pro encoder box, Cleaner will crash. This problem can affect any QuickTime-aware applications that invoke the Sorenson Pro encoder box. · Events added in the Event Stream window do not work for RealMedia encoding. Events which are normally supported by Real Media are: Display Text, Hot Spot, Key Frame, and Open URL. · Popwire WMV-9 Export Component version 1.1 is not compatible with Cleaner 6.5.
