AudioSpace Description

Calculates the amount of storage required by an audio recording of a given duration, for different sampling rates AudioSpace calculates the amount of storage required by an audio recording of a given duration, for different sampling rates, resolutions, and numbers of channels. The calculation may be made for several types of compression or for uncompressed audio data. A variety of units may be selected for reporting the result. Requirements: · Tcl/Tk version 8.4 or higher What's New in This Release: · Worked around a bug in version 8.5 of the math::bigfloat package that prevented AudioSpace from working properly with Tcl/Tk 8.5. · Added code that sets font sizes appropriately for Tk 8.5 under X11.
