Art Saver Action Description

A great Photoshop action that creates a snapshot of your current history state If you're working on your beautiful high-res artwork and you size it down to low-res and see how it looks overall and then keep working you will eventually realize you forgot to set it back to high res before you started painting again, and you've done too many strokes to revert back to high res! AUGH! All that hard work lost beyond recovery!Art Saver Action creates a snapshot of your current history state and then resizes your image (to 72 DPI using Bicubic Sharper) for you. Then, no matter how many strokes you make after that, you can always select the snapshot again to return to before you sized the image down! Hooray! Then, when used the next time, it will delete the previous snapshot so things don't get cluttered..No more will your gorgeously detailed high-res work be lost to fiendish forgetfulness! The first time you run the action on a new file, it will give you an error saying, "The object "snapshot" "High-Res" is not currently available.", just click, "Continue".When you want to size your image down, run the action. BE SURE you are currently at high resolution before running the action, as the action will result in a clear history and the snapshot will be a snapshot of the low-res version if you were at low-res when you ran the action. This also means you should not use the action twice in a row without returning to the high-res snapshot. To use the snapshots, simply scroll to the top of your, "History" tab. If you can't find it, click on, "Window" and then click on, "History". The snapshots are stored at the top of this window, and simply clicking on one will revert the image to that snapshot. A snapshot is created automatically when you open the image, it will have the same name as the filename of the image, you can ignore this one.If you want to preserve a snapshot so the action does not delete it the next time it is run, simply double click its name and rename it. This will result in the error above appearing again, but it doesn't matter. Requirements: · Photoshop
