Afloat Description

Adds commands to Window menu of many applications Afloat is a small Cocoa plug-in that adds "Keep Floating" and "Make Transparent" commands to the Window menu of many Mac applications. "Keep Floating" will keep the window always on top (even if you switch applications), while "Make Transparent" enables you to choose a translucency level for the window.. Here are some key features of "Afloat": · Keep Afloat. When a window is kept afloat, it will stay on top of all other windows. To keep a window afloat, choose Window > Keep Afloat from the menu bar. You can also press a key shortcut or adjust this and other effects by choosing Window > Adjust Effects from the menu bar. · Drag Anywhere. You can move a window by dragging it from anywhere, not just the menu bar. To drag a window this way, hold down the control and command keys and drag it. · Transparency. You can make a window transparent or opaque again as much as you want. To change the transparency, choose your preferred option from the Window > Transparency menu in your menu bar. You can also press (page up) or · (page down) on your keyboard, or hold down the control and command keys and · scroll up or down with the mouse wheel (or with two fingers on the trackpad on portable Macs). Finally, you can adjust this and other effects by choosing Window > Adjust Effects from the menu bar. · Overlays. Overlays are like regular floating windows, but they ignore mouse clicks. You can keep an overlay on your screen and continue working; you'll be able to see it but it won't stop you from working with windows below it. Important: this version of Afloat does not have all Overlays features that previous versions had. · Show Window's File in Finder. If the current window is showing a file (and has that file's icon in its menu bar), this command will quickly reveal that file in the Finder. Requirements: · PlugSuit 1.5.3 or later or SIMBL 0.82 or later What's New in This Release: · Added now Leopard support.
