AeFile - Use various kinds of file dialogs from your AppleScript scripts with many useful options AeFile is a free Mac utility that will allow you to use various kinds of file dialogs from your AppleScript scripts with many useful options not supported by the standard scripting addition commands.If you launch AeFile from the Finder, you can choose Open command from the File menu to open any file that can be opened from the Finder. (To be exact, you can let the Finder open the chosen object via Apple event.) So, you may be able to use this application as a very simple launcher.If you use AppleScript, an easy way to use Apple events, you can make AeFile show various kinds of file dialogs to choose or make file object (such as file and folder) from your AppleScript scripts. AeFile will also provide you with many useful parameters that are not supported by the standard osax commands such as choose folder and choose file.
