Firefox addon that allows you to manage tags form any webpage by using and exploit them. ActiveTags lets you use and exploit tags on any web page. When it detects tags on pages it checks for relevant mashups based on those tags. Mashups are shown as widgets only when they are related to the content of a page. Relevancy is determined on the basis of tags, which are extracted from Web pages while browsing.ActiveTags comes with built in mechanisms to detect tags on pages, and is learning more every day as its detection algorithms are updated by its user base. Similarly, mashups can be added to the system by users and are shared among all users.The ActiveTags extension helps you get relevant mashups information based on the tags your find on webpages.
