AccolorHelper Description
Tool that help you determine if the colors that you use can be distinguished by people with color deficiencies AccolorHelper (accessible color helper) is a free and open source, simple tool that helps you determine whether the colors you want to use in a project can be distinguished from each other by people with color deficiencies. AccolorHelper will do so by showing the color as seen by these people. AccolorHelper will also calculate brightness and color difference values for all color combinations of your colors, so the rating of a color combination is not dependent on the viewer.Eight color deficiencies are simulated by AccolorHelper. These deficiencies can be divided into three categories:Anomalous trichromacy· The sensitivity of one of the color cone types has shifted. One primary color is interpreted differently.Dichromacy· One of the color cone types is missing. One primary color cannot be seen completely.Monochromacy· Little to no color distinction. Requirements: · Java 5 What's New in This Release: · Initial release of AccolorHelper. See the site () for the manual.
