Free development tool to compile parametrized spreadsheets directly to Java byte code The Abacus Formula Compiler (AFC) is a free development tool that will compile spreadsheet files defined computations directly to Java byte code. This ways its users can thus customize their applications using OpenOffice Calc or Excel. Abacus Formula Compiler will compile against your own Java interfaces so that it computes output values and obtains input values (essentially AFC will generate strategy implementations for you).Abacus Formula Compiler also comes with support for internal computations with either BigDecimal (for financial applications) or double.
