The Mac-to-Win-and-back text converter ASCon-A is a free utility for converting text between Mac OS and Windows ASCon-A is converting text from Mac to Windows encoding and vice versa, automatic and very fast!ASCon-A translates line breaks and all of the so-called "upper-ASCII" characters, including umlauts etc. Together with Apple's AppleScript its easy to call ASCon-As text conversion directly from within many applications.
