A FileMaker plugin that allows you to highlight changes to text data. Now you can get the same change tracking feature in FileMaker that you're used to with Word, or the unix 'diff' program! The Difference plugin will highlight changes between the contents of two text values to show you exactly what has been modified. The differences are shown with configurable highlight colors and styles; for example, strike-through on deletions. There are many potential uses for this plugin:The 360Works Difference Engine makes it easy to compare two text fields in FileMaker. Simply create a short script using the included functions to return a clear, visual comparison of what changes have been made to your text. For more advanced users, the Difference Engine lets you change your formatting for your text, so you can use whatever style you prefer to indicate changes in your documents.
