It supports beside it's own protocol: ICQ, MSN and XMPP (Jabber). Also it supports SIP-to-SIP, SIP-to-PSTN, Conference, SMS, Webdrive, Connection-Call, Discussion-Boards and more. There is a Java-Based Mobile-Client available which enables you to chat with your contacts through GPRS/UMTS. Here are some key features of "goober Messenger": File Transfer: · Send files to your friends and other messengers even if they are not online. · Authorize particularly good friends to send files without you having to first giving them permission. · A faster sending of files to an email address is possible as well. Gallery: · Create Internet slideshows easily by drag and drop. No matter which size the files are, goober optimizes the size automatically so the compilation is fast and the pictures can be viewed be everyone · Send images while you chat - they will be shown within seconds to your chat partner. · Create image galleries and send the respective web link per email. Telephony: · Call goober friends for free. · Make cheap calls to landline and cell phone numbers. · Get called by visitors to your web and profile page. SMS: · Send text messages cheaply and easily with goober. · In doing so, your cell phone number will be displayed as sender. Contact List "Helper": · Your contacts can be allocated to tags in order to sort them quickly. · You can see which operating system your contacts are using (Win, Mac, Web, Mobile, MSN, etc.). · Contacts can be hidden without having to delete them.
