dpkglist.awk Description
dpkglist.awk is an open source and free command-line software written in the AWK programming language and designed to allow Debian and Ubuntu users to query installed packages on their Linux operating systems. Being engineered to be very fast and overly small, and thanks to its clean GNU awk source code, the dpkglist.awk utility requires no installation and it’s easily extendable and scriptable. dpkglist.awk also includes a small Bash script that can be used for command completion. The utility can be used only on Debian-based Linux operating systems, such as Ubuntu or Linux Mint.
