QSocialNetwork is a KDE utility to display the relations of different people among each other. QSocialNetwork is a KDE utility to display the relations of different people among each other. Current focus is/was on soap operas - they give the best example of complex social networks.Content is provided for "Lindenstrasse", of course you can create your own content. Future implementation entirely depends on your feedback.Requirements:· Qt 4.xInstallation:Create a directory /usr/local/bin/QSocialNetwork (read and write access, obey small and capital LeTtErS)Extract the package and in the folder named "Source" run: makeThis generates an executable "QSocialNetwork". Copy it into the search path, e.g. /usr/local/bin or start it out of this folder with ./QSocialNetworkContent installation (optional)If you want to install the available content (currently only "Lindenstrasse") proceed as described. It is recommended to install the content to see how the program works.In the folder named "Content" is a package, unpack this package in a way that you have at the end a folder/file structure:/usr/local/bin/QSocialNetwork/Lindenstrasse/Personas (folder filled with several xml files)/usr/local/bin/QSocialNetwork/Lindenstrasse/Pictures (currently empty)/usr/local/bin/QSocialNetwork/Lindenstrasse/Relationships.xmlPay attention to eXaCt writing of QSocialNetwork (small and capital letters). All content will be stored in a folder beneath QSocialNetwork and has the name of the social network. Once content is not needed anymore the folder can be simply deleted.
