Ninja OS is an open source Live USB Linux distribution based on the Arch Linux operating system and using the lightweight Xfce as its default desktop environment. Ninja OS includes media and Web 2.0 tools, requires a minimum of 256 MB of RAM to work properly, and provides top-notch open source software, such as the Mozilla Firefox web browser, Gnash flash player, Pitivi video editor, Audacity audio editor, GIMP image editor, Abiword text editor, and XpdfViewer PDF viewer, the Gstreamer codec suite, Totem movie player with Firefox plugin, Pidigin IM client, XChat IRC client, and Claws Mail. Ninja OS is distributed as an archived IMG file that can be copied directly on a USB flash drive.
