A cross-platform explorer for the Mandelbrot and Julia set fractals. Ecere Fractals Explorer is a cross-platform explorer for the Mandelbrot and Julia set fractals. It supports smooth coloring, features a gradient editor, supports arbitrary powers, has an option to save with or without computed data, exports to a variety of image formats (with or without bilinear filtering), and comes with a few interesting presets. Requirements: · Ecere SDK What's New in This Release: · Major performance improvements were made (multiple render threads for each fractal, and multiple iterations computed at once). · An easier method to select the number of iterations per gradient period has been added (shift-move mouse up/down).
