Classic Niadh Description

A classic theme for GNOME Classic Niadh is a GTK theme based on the Classic themes. Although they are based on the modern Murrine engine they look nothing like old systems.Developer commentsI loved the Classic Aqua theme (worth checking out) but felt an aqua theme needed more roundness, so I rounded it, the bright colours hurt my eyes to look at for prolonged periods of time, so I toned down the colour. Finally I decided it needed some animation so I believe I animated the progress bars. I then decided to release it.Its colour theme able so please do feel free to change it to what ever vibrant or dull colour you want, I wont judge.Enjoy!I suggest the bamboo zen metacity theme and have bundled it for the convenience of users.I will note however the licence for that can be found here: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/GPL/2.0/How to install?· Right click on your desktop and select Change Desktop Background· Click on the first tab: Theme· Drag and drop the theme's archive in the Appearance Preferences window.· If everything is OK, you will receive a confirmation message and you can activate the theme just by clicking on it.About GNOME:GNOME is an international effort to build a complete desktop environment—the graphical user interface which sits on top of a computer operating system—entirely from free software. This goal includes creating software development frameworks, selecting application software for the desktop, and working on the programs which manage application launching, file handling, and window and task management.GNOME is part of the GNU Project and can be used with various Unix-like operating systems, most notably Linux, and as part of Java Desktop System in Solaris. The name originally stood for GNU Network Object Model Environment, though this acronym is deprecated. The GNOME project puts heavy emphasis on simplicity, usability, and making things “just work”. Requirements: · gtk+ · GNOME
