vhba-module is an open source module for the Linux kernel created to emulate SCSI device under any Linux-based operating system. In more technical terms, the vhba-module kernel module provides a Virtual (SCSI) HBA (Host Bus Adapter), which unites the Linux kernel with the userspace daemon. The module has been designed to act as a low-level SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) driver for the Linux kernel. The vhba-module project works with Linux kernel 2.6.20 or later. vhba-module is part of the CDemu project, which can be downloaded from Softpedia.
