sysfunc Description

sysfunc is an open source and portable library software, a set of shell functions specifically designed to help UNIX/Linux sysadmins to do various system administration tasks. It is compatible with Bash and KSH (Korn Shell). sysfunc features file copy, file and folder deletion, symbolic link management, user and group management, line replacement, data block replacement in a file, commenting and uncommenting of lines, logical volume, volume group and filesystem creation, as well as service management. At the moment, this shell library has been successfully tested with the Linux, BSD, Solaris, AIX and HP-UX operating systems, but it’s designed to support any Unix/Linux system.
