nugu is a biff-like utility which scans either an IMAP4 or POP3 mail server account. nugu is a biff-like utility which scans either an IMAP4 or POP3 mail server account and relays an abbreviated copy of the unread email to the user's cell phone.The user can constrain which messages get relayed by defining a query in a configuration file. nugu is meant to be run as a cron job.What's New in This Release:· Support for --notruncate and --abbreviate command line options was added.· --notruncate refrains from truncating a message to the 160 character SMS limit.· --abbreviate attempts to provide "text-readable" compression by simply ommitting vowels in words that are longer than 4 characters.
