memtop Description

Displays consumption of RAM by processes in easy-to-read way In linux it is easy to find how much memory what process consumes, at least it looks so. Problem is that tools like top provides few different categories of "memory". My tools provides only one number that is taken from pmap tool instead, and present them in easy to read manner.Processes are sorted starting with biggest one. Even though it resemles (h)top command by output, this is intended to run in long periods (5 min - 1 hour), since output shows also change from previous period. One of intended use is when you are trying to reduce memory consumption of your box and don't know what processes are most RAM intensive. Requirements: · Python
