Quick and easily edit gnome menus using a simple configuration file gnome-menu-setup is a software that provides an easy way to configure the menus, using a simple configuration file, in which you define the menu hierarchy and the menu items available in your configuration. The program then reads the config file and applies the configuration, generating the neccesary .desktop and .directory files, as well as inserting the needed XML code to create the menu layout.After the menu configuration is applied, it will be available to all the users in the system, and the same menu layout can then be replicated on other systems easily. Requirements: · gtk+ · GNOME What's New in This Release: · Added the hide: definition, which allows you to hide the applications you want from the menu. For more information refer to the configuration help using the --help-config option. · Added the --recover option, which recovers the menus in case they are corrupted. · Added menu entries in the System Tools menu, to update the configuration file, as well to update the menus. After you install the applicatio ( using make install ), you will see two new menu entries under the System Tools menu: the 'Menu Configuration' and 'Update Menu Settings'. · By Default, a 'Click Here' menu is created after you install, with information about how to use the program.
