Gnome Keyring Password Manager gkpm is a simple password manager using the GNOME (maybe also KDE-Wallet) keyring to store the passwords.Developer commentsWhy, how and when: This idea came to mind the first time I used the keyring in Gnome. And after searching I had yet to find a single password manager that used it as a back-end. But at the time I could only find C examples of using the keyring, and I did not wish to put in all the effort to make a nice GUI C application at the time. Later on I found it was available in python through python-keyring, and this project was started.Main idea: This application is designed to be small and lightweight without any clutter. It is primarily designed to keep your everyday (common) passwords and as such there are no grouping or notes or anything other that can clutter up things.
