VideoDB is a database to manage your personal video collection. VideoDB is a database to manage your personal video collection. It’s mainly designed for videofiles but you can also put your DVDs and VHS tapes in it.Be sure to have a recent PHP version! At least 4.2.0 with GD library is requiredcopy all files in a directory somewhere below your webserver root Do one of these steps:point your browser the install.php and follow the instructions orcreate a MySQL-Database using the table definitions indoc/createtables.sqledit the config.inc.php to match your databasepoint your browser to your new VideoDB and add some moviescustomize everything in the config screenIf you are upgrading from a previous version:keep your database and the cache/img directory but delete all other files then put the new ones inThen point your browser the install.php and follow the instructionsorrun doc/updatedb.sql over your existing database with the -f option to force mysql to ignore errors.
