It is recommended to create a new user with a shell set to /bin/false· Assign a password to the user. passwd user· Edit the vadmind.xml file and make the changes so the element < user> includes the username selected.· Add a line on your /etc/services file identifying the vadmind daemon to the port 1888.· Create an entry in the /etc/xinetd.conf of your server.· Restart you xinetd/inetd daemon and that's it.Requirements:· An installed Linux/*NIX like system.· Perl 5 (VAdmind was developed using v5.8.0)· The XML::Simple perl module installed on your system.· Either xinetd or inetd installed in your system.What's New in This Release:· Fixed a problem in VAdmind.pm related to the $plugin object and the {in} and {out} data structures.· Reflected the change and added more detail in the Test.pm example plugin.
