UYKFD Description

Automated Playlist Generation UYKFD will generate playlists from graphs inferred from various metadata sources (currently just Last FM artist tags). The idea is to generate a series of tracks that are "related" in some way while also exploring your music library.It works (quite well, in my opinion), but is very much for expert users only - I now have a jarball download, so you don't need to compile things, but there are still a lot of rough edges.UYKFD written in Scala (mainly as a glue for Java libs) and can be run either as a one-shot command line tool or via a prompt (which allows multiple commands to be invoked without having to restart the JVM each time).A MySQL (previously HSQLDB, which should still work but isn't tested) database is used as cache; Empire DB provides the ORM/SQL; it should be possible (but is untested) to use use other database engines by changing the database URL.
