Terminology is an open source graphical software, a terminal emulator written with the EFL (Enlightenment Foundation Libraries) for the Enlightenment E17 desktop environment on Linux-based operating systems. Terminology is a terminal emulator like no other, it emulates a somewhat extended VT100 with various plugins and some eye-candy. It provides most escapes supported by Xterm (including 256 color), RXVT, and other terminal emulators, backgrounds (can be animated gifs, bitmaps, videos, or scalable/vector images), transparency, as well as scalable and bitmap fonts. Among other features, we can mention support for Wayland and X.Org display servers, themes for the design and layout, file path, URL and email address detection, link-handling, inline display of link content, support for multiple /paste selections and buffer support.
