Stationery Description

Stationery provides an extension to mimic Outlook Express Stationery. Stationery provides an extension to mimic Outlook Express Stationery.Simply use drop-down menu from buttons "Write", "Reply*" and "Forward", and select "Other Stationery..." option. Extension is in early stage of development, and may fail in some configurations. I tested it on Windows XP SP2, Polish language version, and Thunderbird 1.5.0.9. As template you may use template files from MS OE. Or you may write one. How to write template file? 1) Try to put all neded styles to "style" tag embedded in "head". Whole "head" is replaced when template is applied. 2) If you put some content in "body" then this content will be added when template is applied. But if you try to remove or change template, then this content will stay. 3) Current content of your email (signature, quoting), will be always placed after content from template. 4) Do not use "url(some_image.jpg)" in styles. It not work. Thunderbird do not send this images with your email. You must use "img" tags, with eventually positioning from CSS. 5) Body background must be specified using body "background" attribute. I fix it in 0.3.2, it it currently wait for review and acceptance. Currently you may download 0.3.2 from http://87.105.2.23/~arivald/stationery-0.3.2-tb.xpi.This bug happens when there is no any stationery selected yet, and user try to edit new mail. As workaround, you may use "Other stationery..." option to select any blank HTML file or any OE stationery file.Requirements:· Thunderbird 1.5 - 2.0.0.* ALLWhat's New in This Release:· In version (0.3.1) i add try/catch blocks to any place where my extension interacts with Thunderbird, so now throwing exception inside my code will show alert, and do not broke other code.
