RTextDoc Description
RTextDoc is an open source, free and cross-platform graphical application written in the Java programming language and designed as a LaTeX and TeX editor. The software features on-the-fly spelling with support for 20 languages, instant grammar checker, integrated offline dictionaries, syntax highlighting, bookmarks, section folding, line numbers, bracket matching, text formatting, document structure browser, manager for symbols and tags, and manager for BibTex entries. Also, a WYSIWYG equation editor, built-in fast PDF viewer, LaTeX to HTML converter, HTML to LaTeX converter, LaTeX to MathML/XML converter are included. RTextDoc is mainly based on the RText programmer's editor application, but it also includes functionality from other similar projects, including SCaVis, LanguageTool, JabRef, DragMath, ICEpdf (community) edition, Snuggletex, and JSlovo. Being written in Java, RTextDoc is a platform-independent application that supports Linux/UNIX, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems, working on both 64-bit and 32-bit architectures.
