ProCon Latte Description

A content filter for the Firefox browser ProCon is a content filter for the Firefox browser. It can filter any kind of material (pornography, gambling, hacking, cracking, etc...). ProCon Latte can also block all traffic, making sure that only desired websites (set in the Whitelist) can be accessed, and includes a profanity filter, all *like* a parental control filter. ProCon also has password protection in order to keep *others* from changing the settings. Requirements: · Mozilla Firefox What's New in This Release: · Dear Users, · It has been almost one year since the last update (version 1.7.9.5), and I have been knocking my head from wall to wall in trying to be productive with ProCon. Unfortunately, at 50% of the total development stage lots of things have happened so I was pending on whether to continue providing you with a filter or just let it (ProCon) die silently. · Recently, in between school and work, I found a couple of hours to dedicate to the filter, and I'm happy to say that I'm still here to support the add-on and your requests. · The final update is not yet complete; in fact, I'll be pessimistic and say that I'm at ~60% from completion. There is still quite a few things I need to take care of, however, I *did* listen to your suggestions and bug reports, so you will see quite a bunch of changes and fixes. · At this point I cannot think of anything else I might want to share, but I kindly do ask for some more patience! See ProCon's Credit tab for the contributors' names!** FIXES: · Common Whitelist bug (If user had an empty line in the whitelist then all sites were marked as "Trusted.") · Password Prompt bug (When clicking "Cancel" user would get access denied warning.) · Add-on uninstall button bug (Unauthorized users could easily uninstall add-on through keyboard shortcut.) KNOWN PROBLEMS: · Google(tm) Mail (non-HTML version) may act slow for some. Temporary solution: keep "google" in your Whitelist.
