It has support ID3 and APEv2 tagging.Here are some key features of "MPyRe":· Reads the CDDB server and grabs disc info· Rips the CD with CDParanoia in secure ripping mode· Encodes the Wav files to MP3· Adjusts output levels with replaygain (MP3gain for MP3s)· Writes ID3v1 and Apev2 tags to MP3 Files· Renames the files to match the track # and song titleRequirements:· Linux 2.6.9 Kernel with ATAPI CDROM drivers· Python 2.3· Cdparanoia III 9.8 http://www.xiph.org/paranoia· Lame Mp3 Encoder v3.96.1 ; CDDB-Py Python Module ; Py-Apev2tag Python Module ; Mp3gain 's New in This Release:· Added support for CDDB query strings. Now if a cd lookup fails you will know · why. A cd will still fail if it doesn't have a unique CDDB ID.· Added support for Ogg Vorbis, Flac, and Musepack. These encoders haven't· been tested but you can by editing the encoder encoderArgs and encoderExt· variables in the first part of the script. You'll need vorbisgain for Ogg· Vorbis and replaygain for musepack.· Added calculation of md5 digest, digest file writing is still broken, take a· look at the code and tell me what is wrong, please.
