LemonCarbon is a GNOME theme, originally based on the theme Murrina-LemonGraphite. LemonCarbon is a GNOME theme, originally based on the theme Murrina-LemonGraphite. This theme now uses 4 engines, Murrine (for general theme), Pixmap (for Buttons, Radio/Check boxes, Column look, ect) Rezlooks (for scale/slider look) and Clearlooks (for the spacers.)The 4 themes each had strengths and weaknesses and to get the look/function i was after they were all required. Appart from all this a lot of modifications, new code, custom pixmaps was added to achieve the clean boarder less design i was after.Developer comments:In case anyone has any problems with getting the theme to run with all the engines required, I have the following GTK engines installed and I'm running Linux Mint "daryna":gtk2-engines 1:2.12.2-0ubuntu1gtk2-engines-murrine 0.53.1-0ubuntu2gtk2-gngines-pixbuf 2.12.0-1ubuntu3gtk2-engines-rezlooks 0.6-2nanogtk2-engines-ubuntulooks 0.9.12-8gtk-engines-pixmap 0.12-8.1Installation:1. preferably install the icon theme before the gtk theme. To do this drag and drop the .tar.gz files into appearance and click on LemonCarbon.2. extract(unzip) the .tar.gz and open up a terminal, type "gksu nautilus" copy the folder "LemonCarbon" into /usr/share/themeswhile you are here, extract your icon theme and copy your icon theme folder into /usr/share/icons Requirements: · GTK 2.x · GNOME 2.x · Murrine engine
