The project overcomes limitations in the SMTP protocol by removing the need to transfer the message itself. Instead, messages stay on the sender's server until the recipient picks it up.This means that the recipient only needs to be sent a notification that contains the address of the sender and message identification data. This helps to eliminate spam and enables new and interesting features.What's New in This Release:· Protocol, server and client software.· The Ipo4ta-protocol was optimised.· The specification version 0.6(candidate) is now available.· The server was totally redesigned according to the new version of specification.· Server improvements: message caching was added.· Admin interface improvements: one-step new user registration (folders and permissions are automatically created).· Web-client GUI improvements: forum view optimisation.
