lbDMF is a component based multiplatform framework. Distributed Multiplatform Framework is a component-based programming framework using XML (or currently a hardcoded variant) as the repository.The samples are implemented either in console or wxWidgets. This shows the independence of the GUI or UI.This framework includes a database form sample that let you modify content of ODBC SQL data sources.Distributed Multiplatform Framework project shows how simple it is to create database driven applications.With version 0.6.0 the features are nearly complete. It could show simple database forms, master-detail database forms and would also capable to show it in tabbed, dialog based or combined layouts.What's New in 0.7.1 Stable Release:· The ODBC code has been fixed to work properly with MS SQL databases.· Missing vendor libraries have been added that broke the build system.What's New in This Release:· Local file based configuration of an application is fully supported. If it is not available, the configuration will be loaded from the database.· Many bugfixes are made: there were missing code modules.· Packaging for Linux was improved.· Property grid display problems when compiled against GTK 2.0 were fixed.· Other minor bugs were fixed. What's New in This Release: · This is the final release. · It has two major new features (printing and bussiness rules/actions) and some other bugfixes in importing XMI models and exporting them. · The printing feature is implemented with an external application (OpenRPT from xTuple). It is implemented with the relatively new "execute application" action, which one could design onto database forms to act with actual data. · The "business rules" feature is implemented via enhancing the action classes capable of walking an UML activity flow.
