Discid Description

Discid is a program to calculate the disc-ID for audio compact discs. Discid is a program to calculate the disc-ID for audio compact discs. It is written in C++ to generate a disk-ID by reading the track-info of a compact disc. The disc-ID is used to identify discs at CDDB-Servers and send queries to CDDB-Servers to get information about Disc-Title, Artist, Track-Titles and more.INSTALLATION:There are three methods:1. Install the RPM-Distribution for Linux systems.2. Copy the TGZ distribution contents to your local computer and compile.3. Copy the executable discid-file to a directory, within the current path.
