CeGCC is a project that offers cross-development tools for Windows CE (PocketPC). CeGCC is a project that offers cross-development tools for Windows CE (PocketPC). CeGCC is a bundle of other free software projects, specifically combined and configured for this goal. You can create applications for PocketPC from your Linux or Cygwin PC using these tools.We're aiming at providing a consistent and working set of development tools that generate code for Windows CE devices such as PDA's and smart phones. Our intended development platforms are the cygwin environment and GNU/Linux systems.What's New in This Release:· First stable release of the CeGCC tool family : - arm-wince-mingw32ce-* tools (recommended) - arm-wince-cegcc-* tools (includes unix-like layer) Note that all the RPM files are created on a Mandriva Linux system. They probably work on other distributions, this note is for informational purposes (and because the new release script apparently failed to name the files properly). What's New in This Release: · This is a test release for the release scripts. But at the same time, please use it : this 0.55 release contains lots of improvements w.r.t. the previous release.
