BootMessage Description
BootMessage is a script that leave messages to other people that uses your machine. BootMessage is a script that leave messages to other people that uses your machine. This is a simple file to be kept in ~/.kde/Autostart. It looks for a simple text file, and if it is at least 5 characters long opens a greeting on boot.Just change the DIRECT-TO-YOUR-TEXT-FILE to your text file (ie. /home/bootmsg.txt), and the "Dear Daddy" string for any greeting you want. You might have to set it as executable. When the person turns it on, it brings up any message I want. I can easylly change the greeting message by simply writing it in pure text. If I erase the body of the text, no message comes up. Hope is usefull for someone.
