Aspic Description

Aspic is a program that generates line art images from a text description of a picture. Aspic is a program that generates line art images from a text description of a picture that contains commands such as "line", "box", "circle", and "arc". Aspic's concept is similar to the "pic" command. Output is either encapsulated PostScript, or Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG). Quite complex pictures can be constructed from Aspic's primitives, which include facilities for positioning text alongside graphics, and the use of colour. Usage:aspic Options: -help show usage information and exit -nv disable variable substitutions -ps generate Encapsulated PostScript -sgcal generate SGCAL input -svg generate SVG -testing used by 'make test' -tr translate quotes and double-hyphens -v show version and exitInstallation:./configuremakemake installto get youself installed an installed aspic command. There is a man page that lists the command arguments. However, the main documentation is provided only as a PDF file in the doc directory.
